Simon Schultz – 1st Baritone

I have been a brass player since age 7, starting in the Salvation Army at Leytonstone before moving to Redbridge Brass on euphonium. In 1987, life took a turn as I became Bandmaster at Chelmsford Salvation Army for 27 years, putting my own playing on hold.

Retired GP, now making up for lost time with the East of England Coop Band on baritone. Keen sports fan with the dubious honour of being a Spurs supporter who somehow holds a West Ham season ticket—because why make life simple?
